Frequently Asked Questions
01
General
SoftwareLit is the first software training program of its kind. It helps individuals and organizations understand, evaluate, and implement the right software with confidence, no technical background required.
SoftwareLit is built for a wide range of learners, including:
- Entrepreneurs starting or scaling a business
- Business owners and operators evaluating or managing software
- Team leads and professionals building digital confidence
- Job seekers looking to stand out with practical tech knowledge
- Workforce development participants building employable skills
Not at all. SoftwareLit is designed to simplify software literacy, not assume it. Every course uses clear, practical language with no jargon.
Software literacy is the ability to understand how software works, why organizations use it, and how to make informed decisions about selecting and implementing it. It is a foundational skill that applies across any type of software, in any context.
SoftwareLit will load on a mobile device and is compatible with mobile browsers. However, courses are optimally used on a desktop browser for the best learning experience, particularly when working through the interactive tools and implementation planning sections.
02
About the Program
Most software training teaches you how to use one specific tool. SoftwareLit is different in a few key ways:
- Focuses on principles that apply across all software, not just one platform
- Teaches you how to evaluate and implement software, not just use it
- Produces real deliverables, including an implementation plan and certificate
- Builds adaptability so you can navigate any system, now or in the future
Software changes. Tools come and go, get acquired, or evolve. By grounding training in core concepts rather than any one product, SoftwareLit prepares you to navigate any system, now or in the future, with confidence.
Yes. SoftwareLit is specifically designed for people who do not come from a technical background. The focus is on building real-world confidence with software, not coding or IT, so anyone responsible for making software decisions can participate and benefit.
Absolutely. Many business owners and professionals use software without fully understanding its capabilities, how it connects to other tools, or whether it is actually the right fit. SoftwareLit helps you get more out of what you have and make smarter decisions going forward.
